Golf Bag Tag Buying Guide: Artwork and Attachments
A metal golf bag tag combines a branded face with an attachment to the bag — specify both together.
A metal golf bag tag combines a branded face with an attachment to the bag. Specify both together: the outline and graphics must remain readable, and the hole, strap or ring arrangement must suit the intended installation.
Artwork, Shape and Data
Provide the outline, thickness, front and back artwork, hole position and colour references. If names, numbers or membership details vary, submit an approved data list with a version identifier. Review text legibility and the match between each tag, its data and its packaging before production.
Material and Attachment
Material selection depends on the geometry, weight direction, finish and use. CS supports metal accessory projects in zinc alloy, brass, stainless steel, iron and aluminum. Provide the mating strap, ring or chain requirements so edges, holes and connections can be reviewed together.
Inspection and Packing
Check the approved outline, flatness, edge condition, hole position, artwork and variable data. Review attachment fit and any specified connection-retention test. Packing should protect decorated surfaces and keep each personalised tag with the correct strap, label and recipient allocation.
Prepare a Bag Tag Brief
Send drawings or samples, quantity per design, artwork, data requirements, material and finish direction, attachments and required arrival date. Dimensions, acceptance criteria and commercial terms are confirmed for the project, not supplied as one fixed specification for every bag tag.
