Buying Guide

We make custom divot repair tools in five metals: zinc alloy, brass, stainless steel, iron and aluminium. The material changes the weight in the hand, the shapes that are possible and how your logo is added. This guide helps you choose, and we confirm the final construction on your proof.

The five materials at a glance

Material Often chosen for
Zinc alloy Custom shapes, 3D relief and enamel colour; the most flexible choice
Brass A heavier, premium feel for club and member gifts
Stainless steel A slim, clean tool
Iron Simple flat designs
Aluminium A light tool, easy to carry

The logo method (relief, enamel, print, epoxy dome or engraving) depends on the material and design, and is confirmed on your proof.

When zinc alloy is the right call

Choose zinc alloy when the tool follows your logo outline or has raised detail. It is die-cast in our own workshops, then enamelled, plated and packed. It also pairs with a removable magnetic ball marker.

When to choose brass, stainless steel, iron or aluminium

Brass for weight and a premium gift. Stainless steel for a slim tool. Iron for simple flat shapes. Aluminium when a light tool matters. Tell us how the tool will be used, and we will recommend the material and confirm it on the proof.

Magnetic ball marker pairing

If the divot tool will hold a removable ball marker, send the marker diameter and thickness, or the marker itself. We check the fit on the sample before production.

What to send for a quote
