How Custom Golf Divot Tools Are Made

Custom divot tool production begins with approved geometry and artwork — here are the project controls behind every order.

Custom divot tool production begins with approved geometry and artwork. The material and manufacturing route depend on the shape, thickness, branding and any removable ball marker. The stages below describe project controls, not a fixed route or lead time for every design.

Drawing, Tooling and Forming

Review the outline, grip, tips, edges, thickness, and mating parts. Confirm the suitable material and forming route, and approve the current drawing and artwork before any required tooling. Check formed parts for the agreed geometry, flatness and edge condition before subsequent operations.

Branding and Colour

Apply the approved artwork through the agreed enamel, printing or engraving method. Confirm colour boundaries, legibility and artwork direction against the approved sample. The exact sequence with plating and finishing is selected for the material and decoration system; it is not identical for all products.

Finishing and Assembly

Complete the specified polishing, texture, plating or other finish. If the tool includes a ball marker or magnet, review the components as a paired assembly. Check placement, clearance and removal against the approved drawing and sample; any functional force requirement needs its own agreed method and limit.

Inspection and Release

CS executes incoming inspection, first-piece confirmation, in-process checks, full visual inspection, sampled dimensional and functional inspection, and final checks before packing. The project defines inspection criteria and any required tests. Confirm product version, quantity, accessories and packing before release.

Prepare Your Tool Project

Send artwork, drawings or a sample, quantity per design, finish, mating parts and required arrival date. CS reviews tooling, sample approval and production requirements before confirming the order terms.
