How Golf Ball Marker Hat Clips Are Made

Published: Aug 10, 2026
A golf hat clip with a removable marker is manufactured and checked as a functional assembly. The clip opening, marker seat, material, finish and attachment arrangement must be defined together before the sample is approved.
Clip Forming and Fit
Review the clip drawing, material direction, opening, bend or spring requirements and mating reference. Select the appropriate forming route rather than assuming every clip is cast. Check edges and the critical geometry against the approved drawing before surface treatment.
Finishing and Branding
Use the approved surface and artwork requirements for the clip and marker. Inspect colour, texture and graphics against the sample while protecting contact surfaces from damage. Match the components as an assembly; finish appearance does not by itself verify retention or corrosion performance.
Marker Assembly and Inspection
Confirm magnet position, assembly direction, marker location and removal. Execute the agreed dimensional and functional checks, including any project-specified holding-force test. Before packing, verify component versions, quantity, finish, accessories and presentation against the approved sample and order. Test methods and acceptance values must be agreed for the project.
